I am Jennifer, also known as Jenn, Mom, Jenny, Jennyloo, and Master of all things Creative. LOL. I am a fiercely loyal friend, mother, and a tireless creative with an insatiable appetite to make things. Art fuels my soul! I come from an extremely loving family who is beyond talented. Growing up, I watched my mother, and grandmothers make EVERYTHING! I mean everything! They knit, crochet, sewed, painted, glued, gardened, and created, created, created. My dad is also a very talented self taught carpenter and wood turner. I am so very thankful to have grown up in such a creative family because they made me who I am today. One of my earliest and fondest memories is that of me showing my father a picture I drew and him telling me that he was sending me to art school. Which he later did! 

I've been a professional photographer for over 16 years. I've photographed thousands of sessions and I never get sick of it! I love having the opportunity, even for a short amount of time to get to know each client. My clients enter my studio as clients and they leave as part of the Leatherwood Photography family. Some families I see yearly, others I see at all of the most important milestones in their lives. It is beyond touching and I am humbled by the love, devotion and support that I receive from my family, friends and especially my clients. It is truly what allows me to create my art for you.
