My now husband and I chose Jennifer Leatherwood back when we were looking for photographers to do our engagement shoot and if all turned out well our wedding. The reason we were initially attracted to Jenn's photography was because of her usage of color, the colors were so vivid and every image was crisp and truly art that we appreciated. She did not disappoint, every image was a piece of art that encompassed the way we felt, but not only that – she made the session so much fun! I was so nervous, but she made it feel like a date that both my husband and I really enjoyed, we could not wait to book her for our wedding!

Again I worried on my wedding day as my family is not the easiest to deal with, as it is very large and loud in both voice and opinion. Again she handled the day with her spunky, fun, personality and professionalism. Once again when we received the end product we were wowed. All of my family members commented what an amazing job she had done and my friends asked who did our photos.

Soon enough we found ourselves doing our maternity session with Jenn in a forest location. Her dedication and love of what she does shines through as she is not afraid to get dirty to get the perfect shot! She will climb things, have bugs pestering her, -honestly every session has been an experience that we remember every time we see the images and know what work went into capturing them. We laughed so hard during this session and the spur of the moment pictures always end up being some of our favorites!

The most current session we have done with Jenn is our most special one yet, the newborn session. My husband and I could not have been more impressed. You really don’t realize how much time, energy, and PATIENCE goes into getting those beautiful baby poses. We previously had discussed a video game –Legend of Zelda theme with Jenn and she made certain to do her research on it. As soon as we walked in she had this amazing set ready to go for him – I am talking a mini tree trunk, lily pads, moss-the works. She even took beautiful close ups of his tiny ears and full lips and so many details you would not realize are so important! We could not imagine or trust anyone else capturing our milestones as Jenn does it so perfectly! We will cherish all of these images for the rest of our lives!
